Had our first real day in Dublin today. Yesterday, we were dead. We kind of felt like we got our bearings in the city today (at least for those of us that have bearings). The bus tour around town let us see a lot in a short amount of time and gave us a lot of ideas to explore. Meg has to go to the hospital for the first time tomorrow for her away rotation, the whole reason we're here. I'm waking up with her to ride the bus with her to make sure she gets there. We plan on making our way to Temple Bar tomorrow night for a nice night out in Dublin.

Some more pictures of the day to follow:

Didn't get to make it in on this trip around, but it will be done soon...very soon.

First Day About Town

Riley's first pint in Ireland, he does have a liver.

My first pint in Ireland, it got me buzzed, I have no liver.

No clue why I look so confused outside the tourist office.

Getting ready for a pint...

Hey folks,
After sleeping through most of our first day in Dublin, we actually got out and saw the city a bit today and had our first pint of Guinness since arriving. We primarily just rode the bus around with the intention of doing more in depth exploring as the month continues. As an aside, Riley just informed me that our local grocery here carries kangaroo meat...what an odd little country. Well, I'd better work on adjusting to life without ice or auntie anne's pretzels. Later, Meg
